Product Support Engineer

This role centers on providing critical product support for elevator components and electrical systems, with a strong focus on new product introduction (NPI) and continuous improvement. You'll play a key role in integrating new component designs into existing platforms, driving innovation while ensuring alignment with cost and schedule targets. This position offers the opportunity to lead electrical system integration efforts and contribute to the development of high-performance, quality-driven solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support new product introduction (NPI) and ongoing product support initiatives
  • Identify improvement opportunities and integrate new electrical components into existing systems
  • Ensure project execution aligns with defined cost, schedule, and quality objectives
  • Collaborate with global and regional cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, and field operations
  • Conduct needs analysis, functional allocation, cost-benefit evaluations, architecture development, trade-off studies, and risk assessments
  • Plan and execute electrical qualification testing for new and existing products
  • Support system-level design failure mode and effects analysis (DFMEA)
  • Validate requirements and designs through modeling, simulation, and hands-on testing
  • Interpret and apply schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical assembly drawings, and building layouts
  • Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and develop innovative, root-cause-driven solutions
  • Partner with mechanical, software, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless system integration
  • Validate and verify pre-production systems and workflows
  • Contribute to strategic planning, technical roadmaps, and engineering deliverables for electrical systems and features
  • Perform PCB updates and support related documentation and testing

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $45.67/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
