Desktop Support Technician
Position Overview: We are seeking a dependable and adaptable Desktop Support Technician with hands-on experience in hardware break/fix, PC refresh projects, and system imaging. This role requires a proactive individual who can work closely with clients to meet project demands and deliver high-quality technical support in a Windows-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform hardware break/fix services, including diagnosing and repairing desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices
- Execute PC refresh tasks, including system replacements, upgrades, and data migrations
- Conduct imaging of devices using standard enterprise tools and procedures
- Collaborate with clients to meet project timelines and deliverables with flexibility and professionalism
- Provide deskside and remote support for Windows 10/11 systems, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation of support activities, configurations, and resolutions
- Communicate effectively with end users and team members to resolve issues and provide updates
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support or IT hardware services
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 operating systems and troubleshooting techniques
- Experience with system imaging tools and processes (e.g., SCCM, MDT, or similar)
- Proven ability to perform hardware diagnostics and repairs
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing project requirements and client needs
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
