The Staffing Manager will assist in the operations of the Sound Physicians Post Acute Telemedicine service. The Staffing Manager is responsible for daily oversight of physician scheduling and staffing and physician onboarding to the Telemedicine team, as well as other operational responsibilities. The Staffing Manager will be part of the Telemedicine team, and will work with physicians and the recruitment, credentialing, and licensing teams. This position will report to the Director of Operations. The Staffing Manager will work closely with the Telemedicine National Medical Director and have oversight from Telemedicine Chief Medical Officer.

This is a full-time, remote, exempt position. The role follows standard business hours but may occasionally require after-hours support as needed.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Create and manage the physician schedule with proactive 3–6-month planning

• Escalate critical staffing needs

• Apply strategic thinking to manage complex schedule that requires consideration of multiple factors: i.e. licensing, credentialing, staffing mix, physician preferences, varied shift lengths, coverage of multiple sites

• Develop an understanding of how the physician schedule directly impacts the profitability of the business and what adjustments need to be made to the schedule to improve profitability and staffing efficiency

• Lead internal staffing call with recruiting, credentialing and licensing teams

• Understand physician privileging timelines and processes and how those affect staffing

• Bring new ideas and innovate on current operational processes to drive efficiency

• Ensure physicians' shifts for payroll with 100% accuracy including proper documentation of shifts worked and documentation of rates as appropriate

• Communicate schedule and staffing needs to all stakeholders including physicians, hospital sites, and technology partners

• Respond quickly to physician schedule inquiries

• Coordinate training for new Telemedicine providers

• Provide daily oversight, direction, support, and leadership to direct reports

• Manage timecards for each direct report, including PTO requests/late arrivals/early departures

• Approve direct report timecards prior to the deadline determined by Payroll

• Conduct 1:1 meeting with each direct report (at least bi-weekly, but more frequently if needed)

• Participate in workload discussions on a bi-monthly basis, if not more frequently and reassigning workloads as needed

• Create and present development 60/90/120-day reviews for new hires

• Create and present development plans for each direct report and discuss progress direct report's 1:1 meeting

• Create and present annual evaluation to direct report

Education And Experience:

• High school diploma plus some college, or comparable experience. College degree from an accredited institution is preferred.

• 4+ years' experience in staffing or other healthcare related role with at least 2 years of the 4 + year's involving management of personnel.

Salary Range:

This position offers an annual salary range of $75,000 - $90,000. Exact salary will depend on the candidate's experience, education and geographic location.
