Cloud Engineer

We are looking for new cloud technologists in our Trondheim office!

We are looking for someone with experience using Microsoft technology and experience assisting companies in adopting modern cloud services. You understand agile working methods and DevOps approaches, architecture, and integrations in complex solutions. Sopra Steria primarily works with the largest companies in Norway on end-to-end deliveries. This means we contribute to the preparation of strategy, architecture, mapping and analysis of existing environments, and modernization of both infrastructure and applications to private, hybrid, or public cloud environments.

Who are you?

You have 3+ years of experience with Microsoft technology, and you are excited to develop yourself in collaboration with large and exciting companies. You want to work on developing and automating infrastructure and applications on cloud platforms, and you are passionate about modern technology and architecture. As a person, you are social, you build trust in customer settings, and you are able to design, implement, and optimize infrastructure and platform services. In addition, you speak fluent Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.

Competence, interest or experience we value especially:

• Expertise in Azure, preferably with relevant certifications
• Experience with security and network services from cloud platforms
• Experience with traditional Microsoft technology "on the ground"
• Experience working in DevOps delivery model and processes
• Interest in designing, setting up, and/or managing comprehensive Public Cloud and/or Hybrid architecture
• Scripting, automation, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, Bicep)
• Knowledge of microservices and containers.
