Senior Marketing Manager - 12 Month Ftc
As a senior marketing manager, you will lead all aspects of marketing campaigns for your roster which will be made up of domestic and international artist releases. You'll work with best-in-class industry executives as well as some of the most exciting names in pop, rock and rap. In this role you will be working in an exciting and fast paced environment and will be contributing to label culture, whilst also developing and breaking the future artists.
RCA Label Group UK is a flagship label that is part of Sony Music Entertainment. Encompassing RCA Records and Since 93. The company has existed since 1919 and pioneered the first ever 45rpm record. RCA has a history littered with legendary artists from Elvis Presley and David Bowie to Diana Ross, Nina Simone, Iggy Pop and Lou Reed. Today UK artists on the label rosters include Myles Smith, Jade, Bring Me The Horizon, Cat Burns, Biig Piig, Tems, Paloma Faith and joining US superstars such as, Beyonce, SZA, Travis Scott, P!NK, Miley Cyrus and more.
This is a 12 month contract starting in November and running until the end of 2026.
What you'll do:
- You will work with artists teams and manager to create and articulate the artist brand and positioning to deliver on short- and long-term campaign objectives.
- You will oversee all creative campaign output to drive innovation and creativity through all facets of the campaign.
- Spearhead market-leading integrated artist campaigns (content marketing, audience building, and digital partnership opportunities alongside Digital Manager) from concept to execution to build and expand fan bases.
- Identify new and exciting opportunities for artist promotion by working with brands, sync, press, radio, TV gaming and podcasts.
- Use consumer insight and commercial data/analytics to support planning, evaluation and execution of campaign strategy but to also evaluate effectiveness of marketing campaigns. You will also monitor changes in the market, with an emphasis on the industry, competitors, and campaigns.
- Maximise global potential for all artists by collaborating with international marketing & coordinating efforts across departments to drive innovative and engaging campaigns.
- Be aware of our turnover & P&L targets and allocate and manage marketing spends to stay within budget and achieve financial KPIs which will contribute to increasing profitability of RCA's roster and market share growth.
- Lead by example and support junior team members develop their skills to showcase best in class marketing execution.
Who you are:
- You already have extensive marketing experience from a label, with a track record of artist development and commercial success.
- You're driven and excited by music culture and other varied genres with a thirst for learning and personal and professional growth.
- You have experience in leading junior members of a team
- You are a curious thinker and a natural problem solver with a desire to push boundaries and do things first.
- You have strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with artists, management teams, internal departments, and external partners
- You can analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions and allocation of resources.
