Compensation (Hourly): $18.00 / hour

Job Description

The Sales Porter will be responsible in maintaining the dealership's appearance, assisting with vehicle movement, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Greets all customers entering the sales area with a friendly and professional attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
• Organize multiple lots by make, model, and color.
• Arrange trades for trade walks, tagging keys, and programming keys.
• Ensure inventory has buyer's guides displayed on vehicle windows.
• Deliver and pick up vehicles from other dealerships and customers' residences.
• Assist delivery drivers in finding keys and vehicles.
• Rotate electric vehicles off and on chargers to ensure compliance.
• Assist with tagging vehicles with barcodes.
• Keep the dealership lot, driveways, and sidewalks clean, organized, and presentable.
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with customers and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physically able to drive and move vehicles
• Strong attention to detail to maintain the dealership's professional appearance
• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
• All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA.
• All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver license.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role or automotive industry is preferred
• Basic knowledge of vehicles is a plus

Compensation (Hourly): $18.00 / hour

*The Porter Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $18.00 / hour*

Schedule:

• FULL TIME
• Sundays Off
• Weekend availability required
