Sales Representative – MedSurg Division (Solventum) - Halifax

The Impact You'll Make In This Role

As a Sales Representative you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Maintaining and building territory sales, driving growth and developing new business opportunities within the designated geography
  • Accountable for fiscal growth targets and budgets
  • Educating healthcare staff on products, standards, and guidelines, positioning Solventum as a solutions provider
  • Working and collaborating with Solventum internal sales and marketing team
  • Managing long selling cycles consisting of multiple touch points

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position.

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • Able to successfully pass a Pre-Hire Motor Vehicle screening assessment
  • AND Completion of post-secondary education (completed and verified prior to start) and Two (2) years of healthcare/medical relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment
  • OR High School/GED and 6 years of relevant experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Experience with wound care solutions
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong customer focus and consultative skills, with a proven ability to develop solutions that address customer needs
  • Strong business acumen with clear understanding of healthcare sales & marketing processes
  • Knowledge of CRM systems (i.e. Salesforce)

Work Location: Remote - Candidate must reside in Halifax, Nova Scotia area

Travel: May include up to 40% domestic

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).
