The Impact You'll Make in this Role

This position is directly responsible for serving the needs of our healthcare clients, inclusive of the delivery, pickup and maintenance of cutting-edge medical device equipment. The Field Service Representative will interface with Solventum customers daily and is responsible for building, cultivating, and maintaining superior customer relationships. The daily responsibilities encompass the preparation of medical equipment for patient use to include disinfection, quality control testing, preparation for use and transportation of the equipment to and from customer locations utilizing a company provided vehicle.

As a Field Service Representative, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Supporting customers to include patients and hospital staff on a regular basis providing superior customer service with customer centric solutions
  • Executing timely and accurate order management using company issued computers and electronic equipment for accurate documentation and record keeping.
  • Obtaining and evaluating all information regarding service and product inquiries and providing prompt responses & appropriate follow up. Gathers customer feedback responding and/or escalating to management as appropriate.
  • Assisting customers in the research and due diligence searches for missing & misplaced medical equipment within customer locations or the service environment.
  • Safely operating a company vehicle to support the equipment delivery, retrieval and onsite customer service requirements of the position.
  • Preparing best-in-class medical device equipment (cleaning, disinfecting, quality validation and routine maintenance), disposables, and documentation processing for delivery.
  • Organizing and executing assigned work tasks to effectively and efficiently meet customer expected timeframes for service.
  • Tracking inventory control on assets, parts, disposables, and supplies. Contacts customers regarding coordination of delivery and retrieval return of products
  • Accurately prepare, pick, pack, ship and receive inbound and outbound shipments using 3rd party partners; loading and unloading medical equipment from company vehicles.
  • Following all work and safety instructions and conforming to Company and Departmental policies and procedures. Maintaining a clean, orderly and safe working environment

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher
  • One (1) year customer facing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment.
  • Current, valid Driver's License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • An associate degree or higher
  • Ability to work non-traditional work schedule, which may include extended hours including evenings, weekends, and participate in on-call duties
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the position through fitness testing as required in the Job Safety Analysis (JSA)

Work location: Onsite In-Service Territory (Williston, VT)

Travel: May include up to 10% domestic (including potential for meetings or other business functions that require commercial air travel)

Applicable to US Applicants Only: The expected compensation range for this position is $43,920 - $60,390, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
