The Impact You'll Make in this Role

As an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) Engineer, you will support the coordination and execution of site-wide EHS compliance initiatives. This role involves active participation across all areas of EHS, including industrial hygiene, ergonomics, safety and injury prevention, incident investigation, and emergency preparedness.

Key Responsibilities

1. Providing technical expertise and training on all aspects of the site's Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance efforts, including Management of Change (MOC), ergonomics, industrial hygiene, fall protection, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), machine guarding, and emergency response coordination.

2. Developing appropriate EHS procedure to ensure compliance with Solventum requirements, including China and local regulations, EHS Management Systems, and other applicable programs.

3. Providing EHS support in the design and installation of new or modified equipment and new construction projects.

4. As industrial hygiene coordinator: conduct chemical and noise exposure assessment; develop IH sampling annual sampling plan and conduct IH monitoring in accordance with plan and ensure Solventum compliance; work with team to drive noise and chemical improvement project, etc.

5. As Ergonomics coordinator: use Solventum guideline and tools to conduct Ergonomic risk assessment; work with team to drive ergonomic improvement project, etc.

6. Coordinate and promote the implementation of EHS improvement programs.

7. Other EHS tasks assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification Requirement:

1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar EHS role.

2. Solid knowledge on safety, industrial hygiene and Ergonomics.

3. Strong communication and coaching skills.

4. Computer skills.

5. English skills to speaking and writing
