About the Job:

As a Pediatric Occupational Therapist, you will provide specialized therapy services to pediatric inpatients and outpatients. Your work will focus on helping children achieve developmental milestones, improve functional skills, and enhance their quality of life through individualized treatment plans and family-centered care.

What You'll Do:

  • Evaluate pediatric patients and develop individualized treatment goals and plans.
  • Implement and adjust therapy plans based on patient progress and family input.
  • Educate families and caregivers to support therapy goals at home.
  • Document clinical information accurately and timely in the medical record.
  • Collaborate with providers, staff, and families to ensure coordinated care.
  • Supervise new staff and occupational therapy students.
  • Participate in process improvement and safety initiatives.
  • Maintain clinical competency and adhere to professional standards.

Who You Are / Requirements:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
  • Licensure: Current (or pending) licensure in Occupational Therapy in the State of New Hampshire.
  • Skills: Strong time management, verbal and written communication, and basic computer skills.
  • Abilities:
    • Physical ability to support pediatric patients during therapy.
    • Ability to respond appropriately to emergency situations.
    • Capacity to work in a fast-paced, emotionally demanding environment.
    • Professional conduct and appearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with children with neurological or developmental disorders.
  • Familiarity with pediatric therapy equipment and techniques.
