About the Role

We are seeking a hands-on and customer-focused Service Technician to support our Food & Beverage (F&B) manufacturing customers across Singapore. This role is primarily field-based and involves performing technical service, maintenance, and operational support at customer sites, alongside data collection and reporting.

The position is ideal for individuals with strong servicing experience, familiarity with chemical handling, and the ability to work independently while managing service schedules.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular site visits to F&B manufacturing customers across Singapore.
  • Perform chemical titrations and concentration checks at customer sites.
  • Attend to equipment breakdowns, repairs, and maintenance on-site.
  • Respond to customer service requests such as labelling, stickers, and minor support needs.
  • Carry out safe chemical transfers between tanks and systems.
  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with safety requirements.
  • Liaise with customer teams including Quality and Production personnel during visits.
  • Collect operational and trial data during site work and customer engagements.
  • Support application specialists with hands-on assistance during trials.
  • Prepare and submit monthly service and performance reports for customers.
  • Plan and manage service schedules independently for 10–15 customers monthly.
  • Attend bi-weekly check-ins in person or virtually with the internal team.
  • Identify potential business opportunities and communicate them to the Sales team.
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through responsive and reliable service.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in field service, technical servicing, or maintenance roles.
  • Hands-on experience handling chemicals and performing titration processes.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain technical equipment independently.
  • Comfortable preparing basic reports and documenting service activities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage schedules across multiple sites.
  • Willingness to work on-site frequently across different customer locations.
  • Comfortable working with chemicals and adhering to strict safety protocols.
  • Good communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
  • Background in F&B, chemical, manufacturing, or related industries is a plus but not required.
  • Must own a car or motorbike for daily travel between customer sites.
  • Willingness to work overtime on weekdays and occasionally on weekends as required.
