Project - the aim you'll have
The DevOps Engineer role is focused on deploying and debugging tech stacks, working with the team on new cloud initiatives, and ensuring the security of the infrastructure. The role requires a deep understanding of infrastructures, excellent troubleshooting skills, an interest and passion for industry trends, and be a team player.
Position - how you'll contribute
Collaborating with engineering and development teams to evaluate and identify optimal solutions
Modifying and improving existing systems
Developing and maintaining solutions in accordance with best practices
Identifying, analyzing, and resolving infrastructure and application vulnerabilities
Performing system administration tasks including configuration, systems monitoring, troubleshooting, and support while innovating to automate as much as possible
Regularly reviewing existing systems and making recommendations for improvements
Performing software application installation, patching, and upgrades
Troubleshooting and resolving issues with the existing systems
Ownership of the custom build/deployment module
Expectations - the experience you need
5+ years of DevOps, Infrastructure/Architecture management or related experience
Degree in computer science or a similar field
Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Experience supporting Microsoft technology, including, but not limited to: Windows Server, IIS, Azure Devops Server
Strong Windows O/S and IIS knowledge is a must. IIS performance and tuning knowledge is preferable
Experience supporting Broadcom / CA products, including, but not limited to: SiteMinder, IdentityMinder, CA Directory or any other LDAP solution
Good knowledge of integrating with Active Directory, oAuth2 and SAML Identity Providers
Good knowledge of Linux and Windows system administration
Technical understanding of MFA, SAML, OIDC, oAuth
Ability to take ownership of understanding and reconfiguring different business applications without an oversight
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high degree of proficiency in English, in diverse situations with all levels of management, vendors, peers, and external clients
