Multi-Service Operations Manager

Sodexo is seeking a Multi-Service Operations Manager to oversee facilities maintenance and environmental services for senior living accounts in the West Hartford / Springfield area of Connecticut. The home base for this position is Mercy St. Mary's Home in West Hartford, CT, and will travel to multiple sites in the region. What You'll Do

  1. Evaluate and develop service levels for the overall facility maintenance and housekeeping programs targeted to exceed resident and client satisfaction;
  2. Manage a staff of approximately 8 employees and ensure assigned tasks are completed timely;
  3. Ensure our Sodexo CARES (Compassion, Accountability, Respect, Enthusiasm and Service) behaviors are followed daily;
  4. Provide a clean and safe environment for residents, visitors and staff;
  5. Exceed Sodexo standards for Gold Checks and achieve successful regulatory inspections and audits; and
  6. Perform management functions that include employee development.

What You Bring

  • Prior facilities management experience, preferably in a health care environment;
  • Technical knowledge of mechanical, electric, plumbing and HVAC;
  • Prior environmental services experience with knowledge of floor care is desired;
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to maintain the highest of standards and implement company policies; and
  • Are proficient with computers and other technology.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Minimum Management Experience - 3 years

Minimum Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in facilities (e.g., maintenance, plant operations, engineering services, grounds, custodial/environmental, or transportation) or food (e.g., food services or operations, concessions, retail sales, store operations, or vending) services
