Director Of Environmental Services

Sodexo is seeking a Director of Environmental Services for Newark Beth Israel Hospital, located in Newark, New Jersey. Newark Beth Israel Medical Center is a 665-bed teaching hospital that provides comprehensive health care for the region. This Director will oversee a team of 140 and will manage the Environmental Services operations at the medical center. This person is a trusted advisor central to the client partnership and key to delivering results that meet client needs. The lead candidate should have experience in housekeeping operations, strong financial acumen, talent management, communication skills and front-line leadership.

What You'll Do

Implement performance improvement and quality assurance programs targeted to improve patient satisfaction and throughput.

Interact with patients and the staff.

Perform HR functions including hiring, orientation, training, payroll and direct supervision and development.

Maintain safety documentation and training for unit.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience. Minimum Management Experience – 5 years. Minimum Functional Experience – 5 years.
