Sodexo is seeking an Environmental Services-Custodial Operations Manager 2 for our client partners at the University of Louisiana Lafayette. Our successful candidate will lead our team of custodial professionals during special events and high-profile events including weddings, working flexible, occasional nights and weekends. Our leader will have demonstrated experience mentoring a large team including explaining goals of contract to the team and be able to execute a plan and drive results. This manager will be proactive in understanding full environmental service needs and accurately scale labor needs for large, high-profile special events on campus. Valid Driver's License with clear background.

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for driving positive client and student satisfaction scores
• Provide a sanitized and safe environment for students, faculty, visitors and staff
• Understand service needs and accurately scale labor needs for large, high-profile events
• Have demonstrated experience mentoring a large team including explaining goals of contract to the team and influence their professionalism to drive positive results

• Valid Driver's License with clear background
• Experience leading and managing a team and is a leader who develops and motivates a team to exceed the expectations of clients and customers in service
• Strong leadership skills to work independently to drive program compliance and reach project target dates of completion
• Ability to multi-task and set priorities while being results and safety driven
• Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
• Excellent proficiency with computers and technology

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education Requirement - Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years of work experience in Housekeeping, Environmental or Custodial Services
