HR Assistant/Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking an HR Assistant/Recruitment Specialist to join our team! You will perform activities in human resources from recruiting new hires to retaining existing hires.

Responsibilities:

• Screen, recruit, and interview potential employees; full cycle recruitment activities
• Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies
• Develop and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies and job boards to attract top talent
• Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and onboarding activities
• Daily cold calling and inputting into a simple spreadsheet
• Implement company culture, values and policies
• Provide management with requested reports and documents
• Accurately maintain employee files

Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of human resources principles and practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in cold calling techniques to source potential candidates
• Previous experience in Human Resources, recruiting, or other related fields
• Knowledge of labor and employment laws
• Ability to build rapport with all employees and customers
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• 2 years experience preferred
