About the Role: We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and customer service–driven individuals to join our Wine & Beyond team as Sales Associates.
As a Sales Associate, you will provide exemplary customer service, ensure the store is well-stocked and merchandised, and deliver an exceptional shopping experience for every guest.
What You'll Do:
- Greet and assist customers, delivering exceptional service every time.
- Educate, advise, and suggest products to customers to drive sales.
- Complete customer transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Stock shelves and coolers, participate in merchandising and promotional activities.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures (when applicable).
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements (AGLC/BC LRS, ProServe/Serving It Right, OHS, First Aid).
- Maintain a professional appearance, demeanor, and attitude.
- Support general store maintenance, cleaning, and other tasks as assigned.
What You Bring:
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- ProServe/Serving It Right certification (required).
- First Aid certification is an asset.
- Training in wine, beer, or spirits is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and work evenings/weekends.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
