Smith+Nephew seeks an Electrical Engineering Co-Op in the Arthroscopic Enabling Technology business to join the Electrical Engineering team and work on edge cutting technologies in the medical visualization industry.
The role will allow an enthusiastic individual to contribute to innovative new product development and proof-of-concept projects to help deliver meaningful enhancements to S+N products all with the goal of helping our patients live a Life Unlimited. The ideal candidate is always curious but applies rigor to any problem they choose to solve. The candidate can work independently, but also in full collaboration with other team members. The position will be based in Andover, MA.

Previous applicable internship/co-op, part-time or apprenticeship experience is preferred.
Some experience with schematic capture of electrical circuits.

Training
The anticipated base compensation range for this position is $27- $32 USD hourly.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role at Smith + Nephew. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
