Job Responsibilities

• This position reports to the AOI Section Leader and involves managing AOI tools related to recipe creation and recipe optimization.
• The candidate must work closely with other engineers, production teams and quality control department to integrate AOI systems into the manufacturing process and document standard operating procedures for AOI processes.
• The candidate must implement and adapt AOI systems to accommodate new product and specification as technology evolves. Develop new methods for yield enhancement independent from existing practices.
• The candidate will also be responsible for FMEA (Failure modes and effects analysis), CAPA (corrective and preventive actions) documentation.
• The candidate must familiarize with CAMLINE SPC and utilize it to analyze AOI data and drive continuous quality improvement (Cpk, OOS% OOC% improvement).
• The candidate will be responsible for mean time to detect (MTTD) improvement projects for early detection of process issue. He/she must assist the engineering team in leading short-term problem solving and long-term continuous improvement for yield improvement and cost saving project.
• The candidate must lead and deploy yield enhancement strategies to quickly characterize and react to yield issues and baseline shifts quickly, performing first level commonality analysis, and initiating involvement of cross functional team member from Process and Equipment to resolve.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
• High level of discipline and integrity
• Willing to undergo job rotation / cross training
• Possess a positive attitude and sense of urgency
• Meticulous, keen attention to details and organized
