Middle Frontend Engineer
SKELAR is a venture builder that creates international IT product companies according to the rules of venture investment. Together with co-founders, we gather strong teams to launch product IT businesses and win in global markets.
We are currently looking for a Middle Frontend Engineer to strengthen the product web team in the business PawChamp by SKELAR.
We create a product for dog owners that helps them to be better "parents" for their pets, helps them to train and educate them, and solves various behavioral problems. We create some of the best training programs for training and training dogs together with Ukrainian dog trainers and adapt them to international markets in our product. Our product is mobile applications (iOS and Android) and an online web platform PawChamp.
Our strategic goal is to become a leader in the global market of online dog training and the sale of products for dogs and their owners.

Our technology stack: Frontend: JS, TS, Vue, Nuxt, Webpack, SASS, Tailwind, Vite, Jest; Communication protocols: REST, GraphQL, gRPC; Backend: Golang, PHP (Symfony); CI/CD (Github); Infrastructure (GCP, Kubernetes, Docker).
What we will do: Develop new functionality and maintain the existing PawChamp web platform; Create a new version of the PawChamp web platform that will be synchronized with the PawChamp mobile application; Work on special projects with PawChamp partners that will require the implementation of special web solutions (new pages, websites); Cover the created functionality with tests; Effectively communicate within the team, evaluate tasks, plan team work; Interact with the whole team, for example: with the Product Manager to discuss business requirements and logic of functionality, with the backend developer to agree on the contract of interaction, with the designer - UI/UX changes; Take an active part in improving processes, technology stack, development approaches; Release features, A/B tests, and other changes in a timely and high-quality manner.
What is important to us: Vue (Composition API); State management; SSR; SOLID/DRY/YAGNI/KISS - understand and take into account with each architectural decision, find a balance; Design patterns and data structures - we use them; Experience in writing tests (unit, integration, e2e).
Besides businesses, we are developing our own charitable foundation SKELAR foundation to support the Ukrainian Armed Forces. Within the initiative, we create and fund large projects that help bring our victory closer.
