Manufacturing Technician IV

Hours are 6pm-6:30am on the same rotating 2 week schedule as our MFG Techs. (Week 1 – M,T,F,S / Week 2 – Su, W, Th). Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 1 year Other Requirements: Must be clean shaved, Drug screen, background check, physical, employment & education verification.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor production machinery including reactors, centrifuges, dryers, ion exchange columns, and DCS systems.

Assist supervisors in maintaining workflow and cover floor operations when required.

Communicate operational status and escalate issues to shift supervision promptly.

Participate in process improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and PDSA methods.

Train new personnel and share knowledge to motivate and enhance team performance.

Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot process-related problems to develop effective solutions.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment in compliance with company and regulatory standards.

Report unsafe conditions and adhere to health and safety protocols rigorously.

Handle physical demands including lifting up to 55 pounds and moving heavy materials with assistance.

Perform miscellaneous tasks as assigned ensuring timely completion of production schedules.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related scientific discipline preferred, or Associate degree with 5+ years of large-scale chemical manufacturing experience.

1-3 years of production environment experience preferred.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.

Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and production systems, including SAP and Microsoft Office Suite, is an asset.

Ability to work collaboratively in team settings and handle shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
