The Health Promotion Board's vision is to make Singapore a nation of healthier people. Come be a part of this journey if you're passionate about creating boundary-pushing work that drives behavioral change. You will be a part of HPB's Healthy Ageing Programmes Department, which strives to help seniors aged 60 years and over to improve and maintain their functional ability through healthy lifestyle practices and increase the quality and years of healthy life. As Singapore's healthcare and aged care systems transform under national directives such as Healthier SG and Age Well SG, HPB drives the national implementation of the Active Ageing Programme (AAP) strategy in close collaboration with Active Ageing Centres (AACs), Regional Health Systems (RHSes), and whole-of-government agencies to initiate, encourage and empower seniors to adopt and sustain healthy habits, and age well independently in the community.
As a key member of the Healthy Ageing Programmes Department, you will play a central role in supporting seniors to initiate an active lifestyle through community-led briskwalking programmes and sustain it via other physical activity programmes in the community.
You will forge and sustain partnerships with key inter-agency and community stakeholders โ including People's Association, grassroots organizations, Active Ageing Centres, and Silver Generation Office to expand the reach and impact of the initiative.
You will work closely with SportSG and other agencies to enhance the support and resources for Briskwalking Champions and community partners, so that they are well-equipped to lead safe and enjoyable briskwalking sessions.
You will develop a scalable implementation model from the pilot, streamlining efforts into a replicable framework that community partners can readily adopt and adapt to their local context.
You will monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the initiative, using data insights to refine approaches and report progress at key platforms such as inter-agency meetings and community consultative committees.
An ideal candidate will be a dynamic and self-motivated individual with at least 3 years of working experience in partnership development, stakeholder engagement, and operational planning. Experience within the healthcare, social service, or public sector is preferred, and project or account management experience, particularly in cross-agency or multi-stakeholder environments, will be an added advantage.
