The Development Control And Licensing Division (DCLD) ensures that environmental considerations are factored into land use planning and development control of new developments, and that the proposed developments are in compliance with environment health and pollution control requirements (including buffer requirements). DCLD also processes NEA licences in respect of pollution control, waste management, public cleansing, vector control and fumigation.
You will be part of a team that carries out environmental planning and control so that environmental factors (including buffer requirements) are incorporated for proposed developments/projects to safeguard the environment. Your primary duties will include the following:
We are looking for a degree in Environmental, Chemical, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent. Self-motivated, independent, resourceful, able to foster teamwork and also able to work independently. Good analytical, writing and interpersonal communication skills. Good knowledge of environmental modelling tools, Building Information Modelling (BIM) and interpretation building plans or any architecture knowledge.
