Senior DevOps Engineer (Hybrid)

The opportunity - Be part of the foundational team. As we scale our EMEA engineering operations, this role will be hybrid-based, assigned to our UK leadership team, and focused on supporting our UK-based clients. While you'll enjoy the flexibility of working on a hybrid basis, you'll be closely aligned with our UK delivery teams and client stakeholders, ensuring time-zone overlap and seamless collaboration. Importantly, you'll be joining us at a pivotal stage, helping to build the foundational team that will drive our growth. This is a unique opportunity to shape and develop a world-class capability and play a key role in establishing Simple Machines as a centre of excellence across the region.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and optimise CI/CD pipelines to ensure reliable, scalable, and secure software delivery.
• Design and implement automated deployment processes across multiple environments.
• Deploy infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform
• Build and maintain monitoring and alerting to identify issues.
• Develop and implement fast rollback strategies to minimise downtime and risk during releases.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, and operations teams.
• Continuously evaluate and improve system reliability, scalability, and performance.

Additional Important Information

• Must have full working rights for Poland - Sponsorship is not available.
• Reside close to Warsaw to attend team meetings in person.
• Hybrid 1-2 days per week in the office
• These are FTE (Full time permanent roles)
