The Coordinator, Registrar & Information Services assists the Assistant Registrar, Registrar & Information Services with the day to day management and efficient daily operation of the Burnaby Registrar & Information Services (RIS). This position prepares plans for annual ongoing training programs; designs and develops training materials and delivery of training sessions; develops and maintains a master training manual for orienting and educating staff; sources professional presenters for topical training; designs and implements a standard annual training program.

Bachelor's degree and three years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience (e.g. in learning and development design and program implementation).

  • Proficient with word processing, database and spreadsheet applications, and the student information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills (both oral and written).
  • Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Excellent organizational, research, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent leadership, supervisory and team management skills.
