QA Engineer
As a QA Engineer, you will champion quality by design, proposing and implementing best practices to improve software design, testability, and engineering practices. You will actively drive bug prevention strategies and leverage AI-powered testing approaches to build quality into the core of everything we do. You will work closely with the Product Engineer Manager and the software development team as a key contributor to our product, using test automation, intelligent test generation, and data-driven insights to continuously improve coverage, reliability, and speed across our testing processes.
Minimum qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes, with openness to adopting new techniques and AI-driven testing approaches.
- Solid experience in test automation, including design, implementation, and maintenance of automated test suites.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Python, and Playwright.
- Solid background in functional testing for complex systems.
- Experience writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases, including AI-assisted or data-driven scenarios.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Proven, real-world examples demonstrating technical problem-solving and automation skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to identify edge cases and potential risks.
- Comfortable collaborating with multiple distributed and remote teams.
- Experience in developing Software as a Service (fast release cycles that still support an existing userbase) based in a B2B model.
- Experience/skill/knowledge with Testrail, Testlink, Postman, GIT, and JavaScript.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is a huge plus.
- Startup experience is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and execute comprehensive test strategies, including automated and AI-assisted testing.
- Define and maintain test requirements, ensuring alignment with product, technical, and business needs.
- Collaborate continuously with developers to embed quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Propose and implement the most appropriate testing approaches (functional, regression, integration, exploratory, AI-driven) based on the needs of different areas.
- Continuously improve test coverage, efficiency, and reliability through automation and intelligent testing techniques.
