Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking highly motivated Service Supervisors to join our Rockhampton Service Team in Mine Shop and Component Rebuild Centre. The positions will align to industry-committed leaders and supervisors who have developed careers in mining and managing service for CAT and heavy machinery products. Mine Shop – Service Supervisor

Supervise and lead a dedicated team who are passionate about CAT machinery and equipment. Your team includes experienced, trade-qualified fitters and are supported by equally driven Trades Assistants. This work area best suits those who consistently deliver high-quality results, supports continuous improvement, and excel in customer-driven outcomes. Mine Shop is fast-paced and continues to set the benchmark as an industry-leader in machine rebuilds, CAT equipment, particularly bulldozer models.

Component Rebuild Centre – Service Supervisor

CRC is Hastings Deering, 'Centre of Excellence' for small and large components and engine rebuilds including C175, C27, C32. This is a unique opportunity to work in the largest CRC in Queensland. You will be the 4th Supervisor in CRC with your own portfolio of bays and direct reports. CRC best suit those with meticulous attention to detail and people leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of trade professionals in a fast-paced rebuild environment
• Lead and mentor support members to achieve operational excellence whilst fostering a culture of safety, injury management and continuous improvement.
• Achieve and drive projects through effective planning, coordination, and execution to deliver financial and customer outcomes
• Engage with customers to build strong and sustainable relationships
• Drive efficiency and minimise downtime through proactive maintenance strategies.

About You

• People leadership experience and the ability to mentor, develop emerging talent within service
• Demonstrated experience managing works and projects from end to end including work plans, budgets and resource allocation
• Strong customer engagement and communication skills coupled with the ability to influence for mutually beneficial outcomes
• Ability to perform and deliver outcomes in a fast-paced, changing environment with professionalism and integrity
