Instore Product Support Representative
Our Product Support team is expanding. We are looking for an Instore Product Support Representative to join our Construction Industry team on a permanent, full time basis at our Beaudesert Road branch.
In this role, you will build trusted customer relationships and drive parts and service sales through proactive phone and digital engagement. You will focus on developing emerging accounts, identifying aftermarket opportunities and turning transactional or lapsed customers into consistent, growing customers.
Reporting to our Product Support Sales Manager – Regional, the key responsibilities of this role will include but not be limited to:
- Proactively generate new business through structured outbound calling, digital engagement and targeted site visits.
- Build strong, trusted relationships with operators and small to medium contractors, understanding their equipment needs and commercial drivers.
- Manage the sales funnel in CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities, customer interactions, issues and equipment data.
- Prepare timely and accurate parts and service quotations, including rebuilds, labour CVAs, components, undercarriage and wear solutions.
- Promote Caterpillar's service and digital offerings such as CVAs, Repair Options, Rebuilds, HD360, VisionLink, Cat Inspect and Cat Central.
- Resolve parts, warranty and service issues with internal stakeholders while promoting Caterpillar offerings such as CVAs, Repair Options, Rebuilds and digital platforms.
- Monitor competitor activity and fleet movements while achieving performance targets across sales revenue, gross margin, payment terms, equipment health and issue management.

- High level of self-motivation, initiative and a proactive approach to work.
- Strong time management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and continuous learning.
An understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems is advantageous. A trade qualification or demonstrated technical aptitude would be highly regarded.
