We're looking for experienced Field Service Fitters to join our Cairns team to support our customers in the Marine, Power Generation, Transport and Civil Industries. These are Permanent, Full-Time opportunities working a 9-day fortnight.

What You'll Be Doing

• Get out on site - travel to specific site projects to provide hands-on support and assist customers with machine maintenance, breakdowns, diagnostics and warranty repairs.
• Take on the big jobs - carry out scheduled engine rebuilds, repairs, and general servicing.
• Keep the wheels turning - minimise production downtime by getting equipment back up and running quickly and safely.
• Deliver real value - provide quality service that helps customers boost the performance and reliability of their CAT gear.
• Work safe, work smart - always follow and promote the highest standards of safety on the job.

What you'll need:

• Trade Qualification – Cert III Engineering (Diesel Fitters – preferred, Automotive Mechanics, Mechanical Fitters, Fitter & Turners or Mechanical trades).
• Industrial expertise – demonstrated experience on industrial engines; marine sector experience is highly advantageous
• Diagnostic skills – strong fault finding and diagnostic ability.
• Safety commitment – dedicated adherence to health and safety policy and procedure.
• Independent and reliable – high level of initiative, reliability, and ability to work independently.
• Customer focus – a customer-driven mindset with commitment to continuous improvement.
• Communication excellence – excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills.
• Eligibility – Australian/NZ Citizen or AUS Permanent Resident applicants only (we cannot accept applications from temporary residents).
