Java Software Engineer

The Team:

We have an opportunity for a Java Software Engineer to join our Documents team (focused on document and image processing).

As a Developer on the team, you will:

• Design and develop services as part of distributed applications
• Collaborate closely with the immediate team/tribe and product owner
• Work with requirements for maintainability, testability, performance, security, and quality services
• Participate in code reviews and continuously improve the platform
• Our Tech Stack includes: Java v21, Spring Boot, SQL, MongoDB, RabbitMQ, Google Cloud Platform, and more.

To succeed, you will have:

• 3+ years of experience working with Java v21 and Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Experience with messaging systems like RabbitMQ
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Fluency in English and Spanish

As a plus:

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD practices
• Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies
• Previous experience with documents and image processing, biometrics compression, ML and AI.
• Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and concepts as scalability, resiliency, and security.
