The Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza is looking for a Sales Manager to join our team. Our 439-room Midtown high-rise is the closest hotel to the United Nations and half a mile from Grand Central Station. We're within one mile of Bryant Park, The Morgan Library, and Rockefeller Center.
Our ideal candidate has at least one year of urban city hotel group sales experience and is familiar with in-market hotel sales. They are knowledgeable in SMERF, including Sports, Entertainment, and Diplomatic sales. They are a proactive prospector capable of sourcing and closing new group business and have a proven ability to secure and manage group blocks, with strong knowledge of the group sales life cycle. The ideal candidate excels at navigating contracting processes to support quick closes, demonstrates strong organizational and communication skills, and is proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to learn systems such as Salesforce and Delphi quickly.
Pay Range: This is a salaried role in the range of $80,000-90,000 based on qualifications and experience. The position qualifies to be part of the Hilton Sales Incentive plan that is paid quarterly, based on performance.
Shift Pattern: Typical office hours of 8:30AM – 5:00 PM with required flexibility to adjust schedules for early mornings or late evenings on all days based on client engagement for the hotel.
