Night Services Attendant

The gorgeous Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui, Grand Wailea, is looking for a Night Services Attendant to join the team!

Located on 40 acres of lush tropical gardens, this Forbes 4-Star, AAA 4-Diamond property is consistently ranked among the world's best resorts with 780 rooms, 100,000 square feet of banquet space, and 7 food and beverage outlets. This includes 3 restaurants, 3 bars, a cafe, and in-room dining.

Classification: Full-Time

Shift: Overnight shift (11:00pm - 7:00am) – must have availability to work weekends, weekdays, and holidays.

Pay Rate: the pay rate for this role is $22.21 and is based on applicable and specialized experience and location.

Union Position: This position is part of the Local Union which requires complete open availability. We are not able to accommodate schedule restrictions and full-time hours are not guaranteed. Hours and schedule are based on seniority and business needs and may be minimal at times until seniority is established. You must be comfortable with a schedule and hours that may vary from week to week.

What will I be doing? As a Guest Services Attendant will represent the hotel at the main entrance by greeting arriving and departing guests enthusiastically. Transports guest vehicles in a prompt and courteous manner to and from the parking structure using safe driving practices. Directs traffic at the main entrances to ensure the drive is accessible at all times. Provides luggage assistance. You would be responsible for continuing the hotel's effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Retrieve vehicle keys from and provide receipts to guests
  • Transport guest vehicles to and from designated parking areas and the hotel driveway
  • Assist guests with luggage (load and unload luggage from cars and deliver to guest rooms)
  • Retrieve guest items from vehicles or bicycles, as requested
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests and resolve guest issue in a timely, friendly and efficient manner - via in person or over the phone
  • Verbally arranges and confirms parking valet requests from guests and makes appropriate arrangements for bell desk services. Responds accurately to general inquiries regarding hotel services and attractions.
