The Complex Group Sales Manager holds the prestigious responsibility of leading and overseeing the Sales Coordinators and the Groups Coordinator, working closely with hotel leadership to achieve and surpass strategic goals. As the Complex Group Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind the development and excellence of the Groups and Sales Coordinators team, who are entrusted with delivering impeccable service during hotel events. Your responsibilities, executed to the highest standards of quality and professionalism, include:
- Meticulously supervising the Sales Coordinators' performance to ensure the delivery of first-class service to our distinguished clientele, consistently achieving and exceeding financial targets.
- Accompanying the Sales Manager on exclusive client visits, guaranteeing the success and flawless execution of the most significant groups and events.
- Actively engaging in strategic negotiations for groups and events to optimize outcomes and strengthen high-value commercial partnerships.
- Coordinating and leading the "function meeting," providing detailed and precise information on upcoming groups and events scheduled over the next 10 days, ensuring impeccable execution.
- Leading the weekly communication meetings with coordinators to promote alignment and unwavering commitment to excellence.
- Thoroughly knowing and passionately promoting the hotel's exclusive facilities while maintaining up-to-date insights into competitors' strengths and opportunities.
- Organizing VIP hotel visits and promptly addressing high-complexity, unexpected requests with agility and efficiency.
- Serving as the direct liaison between clients and hotel staff to ensure seamless communication and personalized, top-tier service.
- Collaborating synergistically with Sales Managers and Revenue Management to ensure the sales process is managed with accuracy and professionalism.
- Maintaining daily updates of sales activities in hotel systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency for executive reporting.
- Diligently reviewing rates, group bookings, deadlines, and waitlists to maximize revenue and resource utilization.
- Overseeing commission reports for groups, events, and Food & Beverage, ensuring transparency and accuracy.
- Actively participating in exclusive events and special activities, such as VIP secretary cocktails, welcome dinners, and other distinguished client engagements.
- Ensuring all client requests are responded to within 24 hours, demonstrating an unwavering commitment to service excellence.
- Maintaining informed, close relationships with clients to foster long-lasting bonds grounded in trust and exclusivity.
- Promoting a harmonious work environment with clear and effective communication within the department and across other hotel areas, ensuring compliance with brand standards and complete guest satisfaction.
- Adapting with professionalism and agility to stipulated timelines and operational changes as required by the hotel.
