An Internship in the Operations Leadership Development Program (OLDP) for Point of Care (POC), you will increase efficiency and sustainability across multiple businesses and learn the daily operations that ensure production goals are met, improvements are made, and systems are managed. With Siemens' team of innovators as your mentors, you will assist in developing a solution-based plan for improved production.

In the OLDP POC Internship, you interact with other OLDP POC Interns and full-time Associates in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will have the opportunity to grow a network with senior managers within Operations. Your projects will work to increase efficiency and sustainability and while you learn daily operations to ensure production goals are met, improvements are made, and systems are managed.

Internship positions include Mishawaka, IN. Relocation is provided for candidates located greater than 50 miles from their assigned site.

Internship Dates and Duration: Approximately 12 weeks from late-May/early-June until early/mid-August 2026.

Your role: We're looking for people who are resourceful – rising College Seniors willing to challenge themselves to find effective and efficient solutions to complex questions.

  • You will have the opportunity to lead projects, learn new disciplines, grow a strong internal network with peers and senior management, and make an impact on the future, to patients, customers, the company, and the world.
  • You will receive mentoring from Siemens Healthineers' team of innovators, gain access to and network with senior decision-makers and key leaders, and learn what it is like to work as part of a company that is solving global challenges.
  • Interns may participate in learning workshops and training courses, will develop an introductory understanding of the main process elements of Supply Chain, and develop a network within and outside of the Supply Chain organization.
  • Each OLDP POC Intern will be assigned a Program Mentor and a site-specific Manager for the duration of the summer to assure development and progress. Weekly and daily check-ins are expected, as appropriate. Routine interaction with the OLDP Program Director is expected as well as networking events and one-on-ones with Operations senior management.
  • This Summer Internship program is on-site. A willingness to travel, and relocation flexibility, is expected.

Your expertise:

  • Majors: BS/BA – Operations/Materials Management, Supply Chain Management, Biochemistry and Biology related sciences, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Molding Engineering, Distribution Management, Automation, Statistics, and similar STEM concentrations.
  • Education: Rising undergraduate Seniors (current Juniors) pursuing a BS/BA from an accredited technical school, college, or university with an expected graduation date before July 2026.
  • Availability: Ability to work on-site, 40 hours per week, from May to August. Strong interest in working in a production environment.
  • Recommended minimum GPA: 3.0
  • Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.

The pay range for this position is $24-$40 hourly; however, base pay offered may vary depending on education, skills, and experience. Siemens Healthineers offers interns paid time off.
