The Product Manager is responsible for the Product Lifecycle Management of EWS portfolio elements assigned by the EWS Portfolio Director. This entails taking the vision and strategy developed by the EWS leadership team, through a partnership across functional teams, and developing an operationally viable and profitable product. This individual will provide a critical link between the organization's strategy and its execution. This individual will be responsible for managing and defining the product(s), solution(s), and/or service(s) assigned and driving the business performance across the whole product lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages the product(s), solution(s), and/or service(s) assigned with full responsibility for the results, including defining customer and market requirements, growth and profit strategies, business planning, and road mapping.
  • Constantly observes relevant competitors' product(s), solution(s) and/or service(s).
  • Defines product marketing strategies (product/solution/service, price, placement, promotion).
  • Establishes and manages or synchronizes a cross-functional team to realize the development of the assigned product(s), solution(s), and/or service(s).
  • Drives the business performance of the product(s), solution(s), and/or service(s) assigned over the whole product lifecycle in cooperation with all partners over the whole process chain (PLM / SCM / CRM).
  • Contributes to activities to continuously improve the product lifecycle management.
  • Ability to strategically drive and direct short to long-term business objectives.
  • Drive products from conceptualization to operationally viable solutions.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of project plans for the assigned program area.
  • Ensure there is alignment between the strategy of the EWS Team and its ability to execute.
  • Ensure all stakeholders remain engaged and aligned throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provide transparency to product status through effective product governance.
  • Establish and foster relationships that lead to collaboration with all stakeholders and most effective, high-quality deliverables to our customers.
  • Contribute to achieving the vision, mission, and values of Siemens Healthineers.
  • Enforce and drive compliance to ensure adherence to Siemens Healthcare CX USA and CS policies and procedures.

Success Measurements

  • Understanding of the healthcare education marketplace, preferably relative to diagnostic imaging and therapy.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership skills in motivating teams for high performance.
  • Excellent communication skills – verbal, written, and ability to present.
  • Demonstrated ability to energize, develop, and build rapport at all levels within a project team.
  • Ability to manage multiple products and priorities.
  • Ability to think strategically and influence decisions with key business leaders and program stakeholders.
  • Must be results-driven, action-oriented, and passionate about making a positive customer impact while balancing business need.

Education / Knowledge / Experience

  • BS/BA in related discipline or advanced degree as applicable to the role.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in marketing, product lifecycle management, or similar experience.
  • Required Travel 30%

The annual base pay for this position is: Min $104,000 - Max $156,000. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance. The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: medical insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan. life insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, paid parking/public transportation, paid time off, paid sick and safe time.
