Performs technical, mainly pre-defined tasks for accomplishing defined service delivery work for customer equipment. Service Imaging Equipment in the Washington D.C. Metro area and Baltimore MD Metro area on a daily basis. A field-based, customer-facing role that primarily installs, services, maintains and modifies Siemens' imaging equipment at customer sites. The "Face of Siemens" to the customer. Support the CT & MRI Modality initially, with potential to cross train into other modalities in the future. Flexible and willing to work different shifts and On-Call rotations as business needs dictate, including willingness to work overtime as required. Report to the Regional Service Manager at Siemens Medical Solutions. Remote work permitted. Travel to Client sites in the Washington D.C. Metro area and Baltimore MD Metro area on a daily basis. Occasional travel to other cities in the US as well as international / travel for additional training as required.

The position requires Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field and five (5) years of experience in the job offered, or an acceptable alternate occupation. Position requires experience in the following: knowledge and experience performing service, preventative maintenance, and modifications on Medical Imaging Equipment at customer sites with minimal supervision; experience with the desired Medical Imaging Equipment: MRI Modality; ability and experience to establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, as well as performing necessary administrative duties timely and accurately; strong background working with electronics and are proficient in the use of service tools and service test equipment; proficient PC skills (MS Windows & Microsoft Office 365 -Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, etc.) Valid driver's license, ability to drive independently day and night, and good driving record required; Able to lift 50lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/stepstool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting work, squatting work, standing work, high-reach, fine grasping manipulation, good vision, and ability to work alone.
