Responsibilities:

• Prepare and generate contracts based on approved quote, adhering to previously negotiated GPO terms & conditions and value adds, customized items or attributes.
• Partner with Sales and educate them and/or participate in negotiations of terms and conditions based on customer request, involving the appropriate parties based on specific areas being negotiated to protect Siemens and ensure operational executability.
• Validate Siemens' contracts by matching the contract to the quote, ensuring all documents are executed and signed at the right level before providing Siemens second signature. As part of the process, determine enforceability of the revenue stream under contract.
• Contribute to uploading executed contracts to the contract management database, CLMA.
• Partner cross functionally with sales, legal, finance, etc. to help educate and guide team members on how to structure a deal to meet customer and Siemens' needs. Be able to explain contract terms and conditions to broader team members.
• Train Sales and others on contract terms and conditions for understanding of the differences and impact of various options on Siemens and customer.
• Participate in projects such as automation efforts, process streamlining, audits, updating standard contract language, contract assessment, drafting promotion language with Marketing, or generating reports to reflect various circumstances.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of contract, legal or paralegal experience, preferably working directly with contract law.
• Bachelor’s (4 yr) degree, preferably Law, Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, or Supply Chain major.
• Knowledge of current and legally binding contractual language and terminology.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, organizational skills and the ability to multitask on several projects simultaneously.
• Ability to identify, analyze, and suggest solutions for problems, customer complaints, and client concerns.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including an impeccable mastery of the English language.
• Knowledge of negotiation best practices, both in-person and in written form, that considers cultural norms and the client's best interests.
• Work a regular full time work week with flexibility to work extra at quarter end or other times of high-volume workload.
• Clear adherence to company policies and procurement rules and regulations.
• Willingness to work virtually or in an office setting.
