Job Description

- Prepare journal entries and check supporting entries by verifying accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents and records

- Handle banking transactions and communicate with banks and other financial institutions

- Monitor and manage the company's cash position to meet operational needs. Maintain and balance accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, reconciling transactions; resolving discrepancies

- Prepare timely financial closing, accurate financial statements and reports according to group reporting and statutory requirements

- Support in preparation of financial statements (BS, P&L, and other statements) and ad-hoc financial reports

- Support and coordinate the annual external audit process and provide information to auditors. Prepare VAT and other tax reporting and manage tax inspections. Support and coordinate annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting

- Perform Asset Management by following up end-to-end CAPEX process & managing fixed assets list and inventory management including period stock takes and surveys, reconciliations, periodic reviews of obsolete and slow-moving inventory and recommendation for write-offs. Insurance: Liaise with HQ and local insurer on yearly insurance coverage. Ensure the appropriate and sufficient protection (i.e. insurance) of assets by continuously identifying and minimizing risks.

Responsibilities

• Perform and deliver product cost planning, analysis and reporting
• Perform and deliver inventory accounting
• Set up and deliver cluster budget and forecast
• Drive and deliver period end-closing analysis and reporting
• Following up end-to-end CAPEX process, including financial justification calculation and post investment review
• Coordinates recruitment process in accordance with Sibelco Group Recruitment policies for all non-managerial roles for the cluster
• Manage and facilitate recruitment of the manager roles for the country. Organize and execute onboarding (incl. IT onboarding ticket) for all new employees and contingent workers (all levels) starting within the Cluster, and offboarding processes
• Organize exit interview with the appropriate person as per Sibelco termination process
• Takes responsibility for implementing and coordinating performance management processes in the cluster
• Act as primary contact for the workers in the cluster on HR related matters
• Generate and Request Purchase orders for goods and services required by the business in the cluster
• Negotiate supplier contracts for small value purchases and execute accordingly, assuring all is done in compliance with Sibelco procurement policies and procedures
