This job may include any aspect of field support, and is not limited to system hardware and software, PCs, and networking/wireless networking. Installs and upgrades a wide range of complex and advanced company products according to technical documentation and company guidelines to ensure that customer's equipment operates efficiently.

You will provide highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site support of proton therapy equipment and ancillary devices, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, upgrades, repair, installation and commissioning of complex equipment and systems.

You will check out and approve operational quality of system equipment.

You will instruct customers in the operation - and if the site has customer technical personnel on site: the customer service team in the maintenance of the system.

You will serve as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects, interpret customers' needs and clarify if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to 2nd level support or GFO management.

You will demonstrate to customer equipment operations and specifications according to Customer Acceptance Procedure and Customer Technical Bulletins, as required.

You have understanding of the clinical routines to be able to professionally work with the customer to support patient treatment.

You may coordinate and review the activities of a small group of Installation Representatives and Subcontractors.

You will work in cooperation with other expert company resources, required to assist in performing the installation, upgrade and troubleshooting activities as well as service activities.

You will work within a compact team of site engineers, monitoring all aspects of the proton therapy system.

You may be required to specialize in specific technical areas and have a solid level of cross-functional and overall system knowledge.

You will establish and maintain a network to 2nd level Support Team.

You possess sound knowledge of applicable software, IT system operation principles and design.

You have a customer focused attitude.

You are articulate and skilled in interpersonal communication and are able to handle difficult customer situations including troubleshooting while customer is observing.

You are fluent in English, both written and spoken.

You are sound in utilizing business tools such as Microsoft Office Applications.

You maintain administrative Compliance in good standing.

You are able to use acquired job skills and company policies to complete assigned tasks.

You are proficient in the operation of radiation producing equipment and handling of radioactive materials.

You have experience with SAP or equivalent ERP and PDM products and productivity software.

You have experience in servicing or manufacturing of medical devices with conforming of ISO13485 standard.

You have knowledge of local language.

Unless prohibited by law, the position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to have full client access and must continue to meet those requirements during VMS employment in this position.

You will perform emergency on-site service interventions when required, to provide the highest level of customer satisfaction.

You will perform duties within a rotating three-shift system including holidays/weekends as required.

You are willing to work flexible hours including beyond standard work week hours.

You will work in radiation-controlled area.

You will be subjected to occupational exposure to radiation and other occupational hazards pertaining to the installation and maintenance of the Proton Therapy System.

You have the ability to access and work within confined spaces and heights.

You are capable of standing, sitting, or stooping for extended periods of time.

You are expected to be able to travel approximately 10%, including international, dependent on assigned location.
