We are seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to join our dynamic team in the design, prototyping, and manufacturing of ultrasound devices.

The ideal candidate will have a hands-on, "can-do" attitude and collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams to assemble, test, verify, and troubleshoot components and systems. This position requires a practical problem-solving approach within a regulated medical device environment.

Your Role:

  • Support a wide range of well-defined tasks from cross-functional engineering activities.
  • Fabricate, assemble, and troubleshoot acoustic components and devices.
  • Document development, testing, and verification activities accurately.
  • Maintain and organize the laboratory environment, equipment, tools, and materials to ensure functionality and compliance.

Required Skills, Education and Experience for this position:

  • Associate's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in technical roles, preferably in medical device development and assembly such as catheters and transducers.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical and/or mechanical schematics.
  • Hands-on experience in mechanical, electrical, and/or device assembly and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with operating equipment such as dicing saws, ovens, presses, and automatic/manual dispensers.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices and Good Documentation Practices in a medical device environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with the ability to learn quickly.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office for documentation and reporting.
  • Physical capability to:
    • Regularly lift/move up to 10 lbs.
    • Frequently lift/move up to 25 lbs.
    • Occasionally lift/move up to 50 lbs.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience with acoustic or ultrasound technology.
  • Prior work in regulated product development environments (FDA/ISO standards).

The annual base pay for this position is: Min $78,200 - Max $117,300. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. If this is a commission eligible position, the commission eligibility will be in accordance with the terms of the Company's plan. Commissions are based on individual performance and/or company performance.
