What you'll need:

• No pharmacy experience needed
• Ability to identify, diagnose and quickly mediate problems and issues that arise
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated with a passion for providing high quality client services and building relationships
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)

What you'll do:

• Answer and triage phone calls throughout the day.
• Coordinating with other pharmacies to mediate prescription transfers.
• Retrieve faxed or electronic physician's orders, prescriptions or prescription refill requests.
• Process medication refills on the pharmacy dispensing system.
• Perform outbound calls to obtain clarifications from clients.
• Sort, file, and follow-up with pharmacy's paperwork to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use the pharmacy software to ensure relevant documents are printed and delivered to clients.
• Perform ad hoc tasks as required.

To help you stand out, any or all the following are preferred:

• Ability to take initiative, multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and able to learn independently
• High attention to detail
• Pharmacy background is an asset but not necessary

This role requires employees to be flexible to work a variety of shifts during the business' hours of operations, which include occasional weekend shifts and statutory holidays.
