As an International Account Manager at Lazer (i.e., part of Shimano group) you will have the opportunity to work together with industry experts to deliver quality products to the key players in the bicycle industry. You will be able to engage with an international audience about Lazer products, which means commercial skills are important but so is knowing your numbers. A key part of your role is to develop sales plans and forecasts, always work towards your targets that will help our business grow for years to come. Joining our Account Management team at Lazer is truly collaborative. Working alongside the sales offices, product teams and your other Account Managers to provide the best solution to our customers.
Track performance against targets and take remedial action where necessary to achieve goals.
Create and provide to the organization market insights; based on visit reports, data analysis and competitor research.
Visit customers to cement long term relationships with Shimano and gain updates on their developments and/or needs.
Give to customers product presentations, product information and offer proposals complete with commentary and recommendations.
Actively support and participate in Marketing initiatives.
Monitor internal processes and support colleagues across the organization to ensure external presentation to the customer is optimal.
Create account plans, map and safeguard partnerships, create forecasts, and set future targets & KPIs.
In this position we are looking for someone with 2-4 years' experience in a similar field or someone with commercial knowledge and education in the similar field. Technical knowledge of helmets is a plus. You are the one who can easily adapt, has good analytical skills to plan, forecast and is able to prioritize your workload. Excellent verbal and written communication skills In English. In this role you will be working out of our office in Mechelen Belgium. You are open to regular international travelling. You are accurate, proactive, positive mindset, self-starter, independent and flexible.
