To strengthen our sales team, we are looking for a strategic account manager Europe (m/w/d) to join us as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

  • Responsibility for maintaining and developing strategic customer relationships in the EMEAI region
  • Creation and implementation of account plans to increase market share with OEMs and subcontractors
  • Identification and prioritization of new business opportunities in collaboration with regional sales teams
  • Support in contract negotiations, proposal creation, and presentations for strategic customers
  • Promotion of product release and specification of software products for sales support
  • Development of value propositions and application of value-selling approach to optimize pricing
  • Development of a strategic business plan with a focus on sales targets, product development, and brand management
  • Participation in trade fairs, industry associations, and customer events to strengthen market position
  • Collaboration with global teams to ensure a consistent customer strategy
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, price management, and optimal resource utilization (service & support)

Qualifications

  • Completed higher education or equivalent degree, ideally in a relevant engineering or natural science field
  • Expertise in the field of special chemicals, particularly industrial coatings or resins
  • Sales experience with proven success in market development and revenue growth in Europe
  • Goal orientation through successful implementation of ambitious sales strategies
  • Sales skills in solution-oriented, value-adding B2B sales and in technically demanding markets
  • Self-management with strong initiative, prioritization skills, and implementation orientation
  • Relationship management through targeted customer analysis, network expansion, and maintenance of strategic partnerships
  • Excellent communication skills in German and English
  • Integrity and decision-making strength in the face of critical information or process gaps
  • International competence through experience in multinational, dynamic environments and high travel willingness
