Job Title

This position is fundamental to the success of our retail stores. Customer service specialists work closely with commercial and residential clients to understand their needs, answer their questions about Sherwin-Williams products, and recommend the most appropriate solutions.

They are also responsible for resolving customer concerns promptly, ensuring maximum satisfaction, staying updated on product features, and maintaining high standards of product quality and presentation as well as store standards.

The selected individual for this role will work in stores located within a 10 km radius of store 8791, located at: 1069 BOUL ROLAND-GODARD, BELLEFEUILLE, QC J7Y 4C4.

Responsibilities

Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through exceptional sales service.

Assist clients in person or by phone by identifying their needs and presenting appropriate products and services.

Establish long-term trust relationships with commercial and residential clients.

Process sales transactions accurately, respecting policies and procedures in place.

Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.

Maintain accurate order and formula records.

Retrieve required products from the sales floor or warehouse.

Tint and mix products according to customer specifications, if necessary.

Stock shelves and set up displays.

Clean store equipment.

Load and unload delivery trucks.

Participate in deliveries, if needed.

Keep assigned areas well-stocked and presentable.

Stay informed about offered products and discuss available options with clients.

Follow inventory management procedures.

Propose ways to improve sales.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

Be at least seventeen (17) years old.

Be legally authorized to work in the country of employment.

Possess a valid and unrestricted driver’s license.

Be able, with or without reasonable accommodation, to retrieve materials from shelves or the floor, and to lift and transport up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Be able to read, write, understand, and communicate in French.

Preferred Qualifications:

Hold at least a high school diploma or a general education adult certificate (CAEC).

Have at least one (1) year of experience in a related position in delivery, retail, or customer service.

Have previous experience in selling paint or related products.

Have experience using tinting and mixing equipment.
