Core Responsibilities And Tasks:
Wellness Center Daily Operations and Member Services:
Must be available to work hours between 5:30 am – 7:00 pm Monday through Friday, with closing shift at least three times per week.
Serve as a resource for members regarding exercise prescription.
Conduct member fitness assessments including aerobic capacity tests, body composition, circumference measurements, blood pressure, strength, endurance and flexibility testing.
General fitness floor supervision.
Handle daily operations including opening and closing the center as required, laundry, answering phones, cleaning equipment, and other tasks as assigned.
Group Exercise Instruction:
Plan and teach daily group exercise classes paying attention to current trends to meet members' needs.
Learn and implement the process for instructing virtual group exercise classes.
Incentive Programming/Education:
Collaborate with Wellness Team to design, implement and evaluate wellness/fitness related programs.
Provide monthly bulletin board and educational handouts on various health and wellness topics.
Support Sherwin-Williams well-being initiative and other related programs.
Assist with and/or lead special interest groups such as volleyball leagues, running groups, etc.
