SIS Account Manager

Shaw Industries is seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our SIS team. This role serves as the primary point of contact for annuity clients, overseeing all aspects of account service and program execution. The Account Manager plays a key role in onboarding new accounts, implementing service programs, and maintaining long-term client relationships across market segments such as government, retail, corporate, education, healthcare, specified living, and hospitality. Success in this role is measured by the ability to manage service operations efficiently, maintain accurate account data, resolve issues promptly, and collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners to meet client expectations.

This position follows a hybrid work schedule. Associates are expected to work in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, while Monday and Friday are remote workdays, unless business needs require on-site presence.

Responsibilities include serving as the single point of contact for assigned accounts, managing service programs from onboarding through ongoing support; coordinating service execution through Winbid, E-commerce, and wholesale systems; maintaining detailed account records; responding to proposal requests; overseeing order processing; managing blanket inventory levels; building and maintaining professional relationships with clients, suppliers, and service providers; collaborating with SIS Business Managers, Solutionists, Marketing Support Services, and Sales on RFIs, RFPs, contract negotiations, and pricing updates; ensuring client compliance with contract terms and pricing agreements; traveling as needed to support service delivery and strengthen client relationships; training and mentoring Account Coordinators; resolving account-related issues promptly and effectively; ensuring timely billing and job closings; monitoring financial performance of accounts; and identifying and implementing innovative solutions to enhance service programs.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED required; associate degree or relevant college coursework preferred; minimum 3 years of experience in account management, administrative support, or customer service; strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage confidential information with discretion; proven negotiation and conflict resolution skills; familiarity with industry practices; experience working with general contractors; demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and make independent decisions; comfortable in customer-facing environments and willing to travel as needed; proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Docs; PowerPoint experience is a plus; experience with Winbid or Shaw Integrated Solutions systems preferred; and willingness to contribute to special projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
