Sales Executive

As part of the SGS Belgium group, the Industries & Environment division is active in the field of regulatory controls, inspections, impact studies, soil studies, and particularly in the field of sampling and atmospheric emissions control for all types of sectors (Petrochemical, Steel, Aerospace, Food, Glass Manufacturing, Foundry, etc.) and for different types of installations (Paint Booth, Boiler, Biogas, Shredder, Oxycutter, Cogeneration, Shot Blasting, Furnace, etc.).

Description of the Position

Your main mission will be to develop the client portfolio through active prospecting, both on-site and remotely for our environmental services (Research Offices, Atmospheric Measurements, Asbestos, Laboratories, Acoustics, etc.).

You will work in different industrial sectors and public services mainly in the Walloon Region and Brussels.

You will make regular visits to prospects and clients to build a relationship of trust and proximity.

You will develop your client network at events, webinars, or trade shows, especially by giving presentations.

You will be responsible for writing commercial offers in line with the specific needs of the clients.

You will follow up on opportunities until the conclusion of sales, ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will actively participate in the development of the sales strategy by analyzing the results obtained and formulating recommendations.

You will also be responsible for establishing realistic and well-argued sales forecasts, taking into account market trends.

You will work in collaboration with our Sales & Marketing department.

Qualifications

Ideally, you possess a degree in a scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, bio-engineering, etc.) or can demonstrate experience in this field.

Previous experience in B2B sales is an asset.

This position requires an excellent sense of communication, as well as the ability to convince and close.

You have excellent communication skills (oral and written) in French. Knowledge of Dutch and English is a plus.

You are enthusiastic.

You are capable of working both in a team and independently.
