Job Description

The Sales Director for Natural Resources is a critical leadership role responsible for driving commercial success across Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean region. This position demands a strategic mindset and an unwavering commitment to excellence in the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) sector.

  • Supervise the sales team rigorously and ensure the commercial budget for the assigned region is met, ensuring profitability and strategic resource allocation.
  • Formulate and implement comprehensive regional commercial strategies to drive substantial growth in our TIC solutions across sectors such as mining, oil and gas, agricultural commodities, biomass, water, and sustainability.
  • Cultivate and maintain high-level relationships with key clients and strategic partners within the natural resources industry, positioning the company as an indispensable partner in their operations.
  • Identify and proactively capitalize on new business opportunities, systematically expanding the client portfolio to achieve aggressive growth targets.
  • Provide authoritative leadership to the sales teams, ensuring strict alignment with the company’s strategic objectives and fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
  • Ensure superior customer satisfaction by overseeing the delivery of meticulously tailored TIC solutions that address the complex needs of clients.
  • Orchestrate seamless coordination between operations and technical teams to develop and deliver innovative, value-added solutions that significantly enhance our competitive advantage in the market.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales and commercial development in the Testing, Inspection & Certification (TIC) sector.
  • Solid experience in the natural resources industry (Mining, Oil & Gas, Agricultural Commodities, Biomasses, Water, and Sustainability).
  • Developed network of contacts in the natural resources sector.
  • Advanced English (essential for communicating with international clients and stakeholders).
  • French or Dutch (desirable, to expand regional coverage).
  • Leadership, negotiation, and commercial team management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet commercial objectives.
  • Availability to travel 90% of the time.
