To make our company even stronger, we are looking for a Lead Engineer for the Cables and Pipelines department.

In a team of enthusiastic colleagues, you will guide engineers working on projects in the underground infrastructure from our office in Spijkenisse. You are ultimately responsible for the drawings delivered to the client and assess them, together with the drilling drawings and plans. In collaboration with the Project Manager, you do everything to ensure processes run smoothly.

Your duties include:

• Guiding a team of engineers;
• Acting as the technical point of contact for your team;
• Tackling complex assignments and situations together, celebrating victories;
• Bearing ultimate responsibility for the drawings delivered;
• Assessing (and sometimes) developing drilling drawings and plans (including calculations);

To perform your work as an Engineer Cables and Pipelines at SGS Roos + Bijl, you should have:

• Higher professional education level, preferably with a degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or equivalent;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an AutoCAD Engineer in projects within underground infrastructures and cables and/or pipelines;
• Knowledge of the following programs is a plus: InfraCAD, Drillcontrol, GIS and Civil3D

Furthermore, you should be someone who:

• Has the ability to think analytically and solve problems;
• Is an achiever who never loses sight of the quality aspect;
• Is able to prioritize;
• Is customer and results-oriented.
