IT Service Delivery & Project Manager

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT professional with a strong background in service delivery and project management to lead application delivery and support within our Corporate IT team. The role combines service delivery and project management responsibilities, with a strong focus on coordinating external vendors and supporting the transition of selected services to in-house delivery, while ensuring alignment with SGS's technical and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of application, being responsible for both their support & improvements (through projects), ensuring overall delivery quality.
  • Lead internal functional & technical teams in supporting and developing complex business applications.
  • Managing vendor deliveries for those outsourced applications & for fixed priced projects (ie: non-internalized work).
  • Ensure the application delivery meets technical and operational standards including security, performance, and maintainability.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams and ensure compliance with architecture and security guidelines.
  • Translate complex situations & topics into actionable plans and influence stakeholders across the organization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Proven experience managing IT projects and service application support, with a solid understanding of project management methodologies and the full software delivery lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into actionable items and effectively influence stakeholders at all levels.

Nice to Have

  • Technical background in application development or infrastructure.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Azure DevOps
  • ITIL4 Certified
